You know better than anyone that I have never dealt well with the dichotomy of life - the ups and downs, the good with the bad. You've always seemed to be somewhat philosophical about such things, or maybe just stoic - me?, I'm just a mess! Regardless, to celebrate while you grieve or grieve while you celebrate - it is so exemplary of what it means to live life - the human condition. Now I'm the philosopher! ;) Anyways... As a pun it gets a laugh, but as a concept it goes much deeper does it not? So many (self included) have a tendancy to live in the past, or in the future, without much consideration for the life that presents itself right here, right now.
